Workshops will address a series of atmospheric environmental health topics identified as being cutting-edge, complex or otherwise important but problematic. Workshops completed:In chronological order 1. Air Pollution and Health Research in Australia This workshop aimed at identifying key scientific issues in atmospheric environmental health that can be addressed through research in Australia; sharing information and developing collaboration. 2. National and sub-national data sources in environmental health 5th and 6th May 2003, The Australian National University, Canberra. This workshop brought together individuals from organisations that have national and sub-national data in the areas of health, meteorological and environmental monitoring. 3. Air Pollution Exposure: measurement, modelling and assessment. 2nd - 3rd December 2004, The Australian National University, Canberra. This workshop was the third in a series of research training activities in our collaborative 3 year program on "Atmospheric environment and health" funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing. It was intended to bring together individuals from organisations that have been involved with air pollution measurement, modelling and assessment as researchers or from regulatory agencies and State health departments. The workshop drew on ideas and methods from various disciplines on air pollution modelling, epidemiology, toxicology, environmental sciences and climatology. 4. Environmental Stress and Impacts on Health, 24th - 25th November 2005, Canberra.
5. Aerosols and Airborne Infection, Feb 2006, Sydney.
