International Workshop:

Modelling and Data Analysis for Infectious Disease Control

Murramarang, NSW, Australia , March 9-12, 2009.

Program
The workshop title reflects the major theme, which includes assessment of vaccine effects, vaccination strategies, effectiveness of antiviral drugs, non-pharmaceutical interventions and methods to estimate the parameters and functions that inform these.

The formal program runs from lunchtime on Monday (March 9) until lunchtime on Thursday (March 12). It will include sessions for informal interaction and collaboration after lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Venue
Eco Point Murramarang Resort is located on the beach, south of Sydney and east of Canberra, adjacent to a National Park. March weather is normally warm and sunny, suitable for swimming, beach combing and nature walks. ( http://www.murramarangresort.com.au/ )

Registration
The registration fee includes meals and accommodation at the conference venue from lunch on Monday until lunch on Thursday, as well as bus transport from Canberra to Murramarang if needed.

Registration cost is AUS$990 if paid before 9 February 2009.

Registration cost is AUS$1200 if paid after 9 February 2009.

The target number of number of participants is 40, with a strict limit of 50.
