Environment, climate and health
A prime interest is how climate change affects human health. Climate change is one of several ‘global environmental changes’ that affect food yields, infectious diseases, etc. The urban environment is a second, overlapping, integrating theme, spanning energy, food systems, transport, climate, human behaviours, social relations – and risks to health. We have a specific research interest in environmental influences on the immune system and immune disorders.
