| I provide strategic and managerial support and advice to the Director and am responsible for the overall administration of the Centre. This includes broad financial management, management of staffing and student programs and high level interaction with other parts of the University and outside organisations. A significant portion of the Centre's funding is external and I manage the negotiation and administration of contracts on behalf of the University. |

Fran is the Liaison Officer for an AusAID-funded fellowship program at NCEPH. The program will bring Research fellows from Asia-Pacific countries to attend a six week program at ANU to enhance skills for providing research advice to policy makers in the areas of security, public health, and environmental change. As Liaison Officer, Fran facilitates the smooth execution of this program, including coordination of travel, visas, and accommodation, as well as managing logistics for delivering program activities. |

I develop research opportunities and proposals in collaboration with Centre staff. This includes providing advice to the Centre staff on the preparation of individual and institutional funding applications to external agencies relating to external funding, including policy advice, procedural documentation and statistical analysis. I assist in the negotiation of research contracts and agreements with external funding agencies on behalf of the University and prepare research management information including research performance data. My personal interests concern soft tissue injury, pain management and rehabilitation. |

As Centre Support Officer I am the first point of contact for visitors, students and staff at NCEPH. Responsibilities include providing administrative support to staff, travel bookings, administration of the examination process of research students and some HR functions.
I also undertake outreach tasks which include maintaining databases of promotional activities, mailing lists, dissemination of seminar and other notices and assist with the organising of events, including the booking of venues and catering.
I am also an Occupational Strain and Liaison Officer (OSLO) for the Centre. |

I manage the Centre's outreach program, including the organisation of short courses, public lectures, publications, website, promotional materials and activities, alumni program and media liaison. I joined NCEPH as a casual student administration officer in 1993, and administered the Master of Applied Epidemiology program for seven years. I have been looking after NCEPH's outreach activities in one form or another since 2001. |

| Ivan is the centre data manager at NCEPH. He has an undergraduate degree in Human Ecology from the ANU, with honours in Environmental Epidemiology. Ivan has skills in integrative information systems: such as linking health, population and environment datasets to describe complex systems at multiple spatial and temporal scales. |
