  • The co-occurrence of substance use and mental health problems
  • Non-linear associations linking mental health (eg depression) and wellbeing with other measures (eg alcohol consumption)
  • Ageing and mental health from a life course perspective
  • Mental health literacy and service use
  • Longitudinal research methods in epidemiology
