• Underlying Theory in Informatics

• Ethics in Informatics: especially the ethical development of systems and in project management (see Project Management Support System).
• Ontology (examining the concepts and facets of a knowledge domain): methods of concept analysis and their use in education, research and systems analysis.
      e-Government - ontology and inter-operation
      Health Informatics - ontology and policy analysis (see drug Policy Modelling Program)
• e-Research: use of informatics in the research process and in the mobilization of research results by industry and society
• Knowledge Management, Integration of informatics disciplines.
