While Thuy Nguyen is visiting NCEPH she is working with Helen Berry on cross country comparative research of social capital and mental health in Vietnam and Australia.

Research Interests

• Community-based services for people with disabilities
• Social aspect of disability (mental health of family members, community behavior towards to PWDs, PWDs'quality of life…)
• Disability surveillance, early identification and intervention for children with disabilities.
• Factors that influence to social inclusion of PWDs
• Mental health
• The relation of disability and civilization and urbanization process
