Wednesday 12 April 2017

Gabriele Bammer was invited to the University of Technology Sydney to launch the book: Fam, D.; Palmer, J.; Riedy C. and Mitchell C. (eds) Transdisciplinary Research and Practice for Sustainability Outcomes. Routledge, London. The launch was part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Institute for Sustainable Futures, where the editors work (or worked). She also accepted an invitation to be one of four lead authors developing a proposal for a new Systems Thinking book series in which Routledge has expressed interest.

The Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Ignorance! concluded with very positive reviews.

It was a busy month for reviews. Gabriele was involved in short-listing applicants for the R.G Menzies Scholarship to Harvard. This is open to applicants from population health and many other areas, see: the ANU scholarships page. She also reviewed conference abstracts for the Science of Team Science and the International Transdisciplinarity conferences.

The Integration and Implementation Insights blog which Gabriele Bammer and Peter Deane run achieved a new record for the number of views and viewers in March. It is attracting high quality blog posts from an increasing circle of Australian and international authors.
