In early May, Gabriele Bammer gave a talk on funding interdisciplinary research at the Fonds zur Förderung der wissenschaftlichen Forschung (Austrian Science Fund) in Vienna and met with the executive to discuss a range of related issues. She also gave a seminar to a combined gathering of the faculty, students and visitors of the Fakultät für Interdisziplinäre Forschung und Fortbildung at Alpen-Adria Universitaet and Zentrum für Globalen Wandel und Nachhaltigkeit, Universität für Bodenkultur. While in Vienna she also met with a range of colleagues.
At the end of the month she was an online attendee of the third meeting of the Participatory Modelling pursuit, which is part of the theme she heads at the National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) in Annapolis, Maryland.
Gabriele and Peter Deane also published five new posts on the Integration and Implementation Insights (I2Insights) blog. The blog continues to attract a strong readership and an excellent diverse group of authors.
