Associate Professor Dan Chateau

BA, MA, PhD
Lead, Data Analysis in Population Health Hub

Biography

In the near term, I will be working to establish the DAPH Hub as a resource for researchers with NCEPH, particularly for students acquiring new skills and knowledge related to their focused research areas.  I will also be exploring how linked administrative health or other government department data can be used to supplement measures of health status, health services use, and SES.  Another stream may examine reliability and validity of algorithms to identify disease cohorts, demographic characteristics, medical interventions or procedures and diagnoses using linked data.  The capabilities of the available data to conduct pharmacoepidemiology will also be a focus, in the near term for vaccines administered for COVID 19.
