Biography

Naomi is a PhD candidate working under the supervision of Dr Susana Nery in the Department of Global Health. Her PhD is examining the impact of school versus community-based interventions in the control of soil-transmitted helminth infections in school-aged children in remote areas of Timor-Leste ((S)WASH-D for WORMS).

Prior to commencing her PhD, Naomi was working as a clinician, training to specialise in paediatrics and neonatology, and has previously done research in paediatric oncology.
