We bring mental health research to life via a variety of educational seminars and workshops for our stakeholders.
Our CMHR Learning and Development Unit offers events, both in person and online, throughout the year.
We work with a number of collaborating partners to maximise our impact and reach. We bring together local and international experts from a number of disciplines to provide engaging learning opportunities for those working in mental health policy, service, and research; other related health and social support fields; and also for interested members of the public. Our events also encourage important sharing and networking opportunities for academics with an interest in mental health.
We use our educational offerings not only to share our expertise, but as a platform for better understanding the changing mental health policy and service environment so that we can ensure we remain relevant to our stakeholders and to improving health outcomes in the community. We invite you to review some of our past offerings.
We also manage the Mental Health course which forms part of the Masters of Public Health program. https://programsandcourses.anu.edu.au/course/POPM8001, and offer a specialised Expert Career Pathway to PhD program which provides structured support for experienced workers to convert workplace expertise into tertiary qualifications.
