This project will use linked whole-of-population data to quantify variation in mortality for people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
Specifically, this work could include:
- Developing methods to identify people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities living in Australia using large administrative databases
- Investigating the validity of linked administrave data for the purposes of measuring inequalities in mortality in relation to cultural and/or linguistic background
- Producing contemporary estimates of mortality inequalities
