Phonepasith (Olay) is a Master of Applied Epidemiology MAE/ASEAN scholar in the 2022-23 cohort, undertaking is placement at the National Center for Laboratory and Epidemiology, Laos.

Phonepasith graduated from the University of Health Science, Laos, majoring in Pharmaceutical Science.

Before joining MAE, he worked as national consultant for Multisource Surveillance and Emergency Medical Team at World Healt Organization (WHO), Country Office, Laos.

During his time at WHO, he supported strengthening Multisource Surveillance network at national and provincial level and also supported the outbreak responses of COVID-19 in central and provincial level.
