PFAS Study Seminar

Firefighting foam can contain PFAS chemicals

About

Researchers from the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health have been investigating the potential health impacts of PFAS in three Australian communities – Katherine in the Northern Territory, Oakey in Queensland, and Williamtown in New South Wales. All three have historically used firefighting foams containing PFAS.

The team invites you to learn about the study and its published findings, ask questions, and participate in a thoughtful discussion.
