Bio

Tam Tran is a medical doctor at the Canberra Hospital and a part-time PhD student at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health (NCEPH). Originally from Vietnam, Tam has seen firsthand the devastating consequences of traffic injuries and has developed a keen interest in the topic. She is passionate about improving the situation and finding ways to reduce the effects of traffic injuries.

With a background in medicine and public health, Tam’s research focuses on understanding the complex interplay between culture and health. She is dedicated to finding ways to improve injury care by taking into account the sociocultural factors that contribute to this issue.
