This talk is part of University Mental Health Day hosted by NECTAR.

What is resilience? How can we strengthen it and manage change and uncertainty? For University Mental Health Day, one of the clinical psychologists of ANU, who is a early-career academic, Dr Jo Lane, will present on “Resilience and managing uncertainty”.

About Jo

Jo is a research fellow and clinical psychologist, and currently works with a multidisciplinary team of researchers across the Australian National University on the Our Health in Our Hands (OHIOH). This project aims to transform healthcare by developing new personalised health technologies and solutions in collaboration with people living with multiple sclerosis (MS), clinicians and health care providers.

Jo has been a practicing psychologist since 2016 specialising in treating post-traumatic stress disorder in first responders and veterans. Her research interests intersect across psychology, health research, population health, translational research, personalised medicine and communication in science.

Jo is passionate about people, optimal brain health, wellbeing, resilience, growth, empowerment-based leadership and gender equality.
