This year marks the 5th annual Research School of Population Health (RSPH) Student Conference. The conference is an interdisciplinary platform for RSPH students to present their research and its applications in the areas of epidemiology, population health, mental health, aging and primary care. The conference aims to promote collaboration and communication across the diverse fields within the RSPH and the broader Australian National University (ANU) community, and serves to foster a supportive environment for students at the RSPH.

The theme for the 2018 student conference is start small, think BIG, which encourages students to speak about how their research fits within the field of population health, focusing on the potential impact of their work. Student presenters will be asked to share their research in the form of a 3-minute or 15-minute oral presentation. Prizes will be awarded in each presentation category to PhD students and Masters, Undergraduate or ANU Medical School Students completing short-term projects at the RSPH.

The 2018 RSPH Student Conference will be held on Thursday October 11th 2018 and will commence at 9.30am in the Finkel Lecture Theatre, John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR). All students and staff from the RSPH and broader ANU community are encouraged to attend the conference. Free morning tea and lunch will be provided to all registered attendees at the event.
