Description

Three headshots of individuals, from left to right: a man with a beard, a woman with a colorful scarf, and a woman with short hair.

This is the first of a series of seminars being organised by the RSPH Impact Committee in order to focus attention on impact and engagement within the School.
To kick the series off, we’ve chosen community engagement and impact focusing on consumers, patients, and other community members in various guises. (We are planning subsequent seminars on policy makers and practitioners, respectively.)
One person from each centre and department within RSPH is presenting for no more than 10 minutes each, as a prelude to a broader discussion.
The purpose is to start a process of sharing across the School – not only our experience and expertise, but also how to document it for engagement and impact assessments. We anticipate that we have much to learn from each other, both for achieving meaningful community engagement and impact and for documenting it.
Please come prepared to discuss your own work!
