Back by popular demand! Dr Jo Lane will be facilitating online group sessions for staff and students where she will demonstrate and practice evidence-based strategies that promote psychological wellbeing. Each session will be 30 minutes long, and will focus on skills such as breathing, muscle relaxation, managing stress, mindfulness and more.

About Jo

Jo is a research fellow and clinical psychologist, and currently works with a multidisciplinary team of researchers across the Australian National University on the Our Health in Our Hands (OHIOH). This project aims to transform healthcare by developing new personalised health technologies and solutions in collaboration with people living with multiple sclerosis (MS), clinicians and health care providers.

Jo has been a practicing psychologist since 2016 specialising in treating post-traumatic stress disorder in first responders and veterans. Her research interests intersect across psychology, health research, population health, translational research, personalised medicine and communication in science.

Jo is passionate about people, optimal brain health, wellbeing, resilience, growth, empowerment-based leadership and gender equality.
