This exclusive Masterclass with Professor Diana Rose is a must-attend event for those currently involved in the field of mental health, particularly those who have an interest in consumer and carer involvement in research.

Professor Diana Rose is a world leader and pioneer in the field of user-led research in mental health and is currently a co-director of the Service User Research Enterprise (SURE) at King’s College in London, UK. Professor Rose conducts user-led research in mental health, having both research and personal service use experience.

The morning session will be an introduction to involvement in research, including some of the challenges. The afternoon session will focus on Professor Rose’s own experiences developing a service user-led research centre and the challenges of conducting this type of research in academia.
