ACT Multiple Sclerosis Symposium

On 15 May 2018, NCEPH co-hosted, with JCSMR, the 2nd ACT Multiple Sclerosis Symposium. The focus of the day-long symposium was “Empowering people living with MS.The Symposium included sessions on mindfulness, exercise and diet, to improve well-being, and new research about to start in the ACT, and also nationwide, coordinated through NCEPH. Dr Jane Desborough and A/Prof Christine Phillips gave a presentation about the Our Health in Our Hands ANU Grand Challenge project. There was considerable interest from people with MS who were attending the symposium, keen to participate in this study.
