Anstey media savvy

8 December 2016

Professor Kaarin Anstey is a recipient of the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Advancing the Reputation of the University Through Media.  The Awards were made at the 2016 Media and Outreach Awards Citations at ANU on 7 December.

The citation reads, "Professor Anstey's area of research interest involves looking at the older population across a range of areas primarily around health and wellbeing.  In June she was the driving force behind the launch of The Centre of Research Excellence in Cognitive Health."

"I am pleased to receive this award," said Professor Anstey.  "Media work is hard work, but it is important that we spread the word about our research and achievements, and I assign a high level of priority to publicising what we do as a major part of our knowledge translation mandate."

Congratulations from all staff and students in CRAHW!
