  • Rosemary Korda, Sue Trevenar and Martyn Kirk finalised the ACT Asbestos Health Study reports for ACT Health and conducted a media conference on the findings.
  • Martyn Kirk and Rosemary Korda attended an ACT Asbestos Response Taskforce steering committee and Politicians interest group for Asbestos Related Diseases at Parliament House where they presented findings of the ACT Asbestos Health Study.
  • Robyn Lucas, Rosemary Korda and Martyn Kirk participated in an ANU Public Forum releasing the results of the ACT Asbestos Health Study.
  • Martyn Kirk attended a Community Reference Group meeting in Williamtown, NSW regarding the Per- and poly-fluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) health study.
  • Martyn Kirk organised a workshop with collaborators from University of Queensland to discuss health related effects of PFAS compounds.
  • Robyn Lucas was an invited attendee at a special preview of the new Al Gore climate change movie, An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power and a plenary at the Ecocity Summit in Melbourne.
  • Robyn Lucas was an invited “visiting expert” to the South African Medical Research Council in Johannesburg, discussion collaborative projects in UV and health, and climate change and health. She gave a presentation on climate change to staff at SAMRC.
  • Robyn Lucas has been accepted as an expert reviewer for the IPCC Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5ºC.
