Cardiovascular Health Research Symposium

The Heart Foundation, ACT Division will host the second annual Cardiovascular Health Research Symposium on Thursday 5 May to showcase local research on a range of topics pertaining to cardiovascular health. Researchers, policy makers, clinicians, and health professionals are invited to attend and contribute to the day’s discussion about the impact of research on cardiovascular disease and future research opportunities.
Canberra is home to several highly esteemed health research institutions including the Australian National University, University of Canberra, CSIRO, Australian Institute of Sport, and Synergy in Canberra for Health among others. The aim of the symposium is to promote local researchers conducting research in areas that help us to better understand, treat, and prevent cardiovascular. Additionally, it will provide the opportunity to share information about research opportunities and foster cross-discipline collaboration.
