Professor Hal Kendig, Director of the Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing and Research, was earlier this month awarded Honorary Life Membership of the Australian Association of Gerontology conference in Canberra.

The award was made for his outstanding contribution to the Australian Association of Gerontology.

"On behalf of all staff and students I would like to congratulate Hal on another well-deserved award that recognises his enormous value in the field of population ageing research," said Professor Kaarin Anstey, Director of CRAHW.
