- Welcome to new members of the EPP group:
- Victoria Hovane – Victoria will be the Study Director for the Family and Community Safety (FACtS) Study.
- The ACT Asbestos Report was launched on 21 June and garnered widespread media attention.
- Rosemary Korda and Emily Banks were invited to present at the Heart Foundation Executive Management Group Meeting on 14 June, as part of the CVD Inequalities program’s interim report.
- The CVD Inequalities Partnership meeting was held on 21 June.
- The second MK Study Chief Investigators and Partners meeting was held
- Jenny Welsh and Ellie Paige received CRE in Medicines and Ageing (CREMA) travel awards to attend a short course on advanced analysis of linked health data.
- Alice George, Ellie Paige, Jenny Welsh and Kay Soga attended a five day short course on advanced analysis of linked health data in Sydney.
- The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Program contributed to the submission of four Research Grant applications to the 2017 Lowitja Institute Research Funding round (closing date: 30 June)
