Congratulations to our PhD candidate Kathina Ali who was invited to attend the Global Young Scientist Summit (GYSS), which was held in January in Singapore. This year’s theme of the prestigious meeting was “Advancing Science, Creating Technologies for a Better World”. Over five days, more than 250 young researchers were able to interact with eminent scientists (including Nobel and Millennium laureates) and peers to discuss key areas of science and research, technology innovation and society, and solutions to global challenges. “The summit was a fantastic opportunity to interact with young researchers from different backgrounds and countries, and learn from our scientific leaders” said Kathina.
