March news about Integration and Implementation Sciences

7 March 2018

Work proceeded apace for two major projects. First, an international meeting of leaders of interdisciplinary organisations which will take place at the National Socio-Environmental Synthesis Center (SESYNC) in Annapolis Maryland in early March. This meeting is being co-organised and co-run by Gabriele Bammer, based on a successful invitation-only pitch she made to SESYNC. Second, is recruitment of “expressions of interest” for a major project to provide fresh thinking on uncertainty, unknowns and ignorance. This feasibility study has been funded by Defence Science and Technology Group.

Gabriele Bammer and Peter Deane also continued to produce the Integration and Implementation Insights blog (http://i2Insights.org), which continues to attract new contributors and readers.
