Conferences/meeting

 

Robyn Lucas attended the meeting of the UNEP Environmental Effects Assessment Panel for the Montreal Protocol on Ozone Depletion to finalise the preparation of the 2018 Quadrennial Report, in Essex, Vermont.

 

Katherine Todd and Martyn Kirk attended the Joint Standing Committee public hearing into the management of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination in and around Defence bases on 14 September 2018 at Parliament House in Canberra. Katherine and Martyn were invited to present details about the PFAS Health Study and were questioned by the Committee members.

 

Grants

Aparna Lal has been awarded a Climate And Water Summer Institute Fellowship

 

The Ausimmune and AusLong study teams, in conjunction with the ANU Grand Challenge project, Our Health in Our Hands, have been invited to the full proposal stage for a US Department of Defense funding application on Correlates of Disease Activity and Progression in Multiple Sclerosis.
