Dr Susana Vaz Nery’s research seeks to minimise diseases that are transmitted through contaminated soil. She recently won funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to continue her current project in Timor Leste. In this video she discusses how the funding will help her achieve a reduction in the rate of worm infections in the region.
