  • Gabriele Bammer was an invited panellist presenting to a meeting of the ANU Council on “Collaboration for Impact”.

  • Gabriele Bammer contributed to three proposals in the ANU’s Grand Challenges scheme.

  • POPH8104 Contemporary Issues in Public Health, co-convened by Gabriele Bammer and Kathryn Bowen, is being taught in semester 2, which started in late July. Gabriele also contributed to the course “Mobilising Research” which was run as a joint Vice-Chancellors course and course for the International Alliance of Research Universities (IARU).

  • A compilation of eight “Toolkits for Transdisciplinarity” produced by Gabriele Bammer for the journal GAIA was published and will be distributed to universities and other institutions teaching about transdisciplinarity (see https://www.oekom.de/zeitschriften/gaia/toolkits-for-transdisciplinarity.html).   • The Integration and Implementation Insights blog continues to be successful. Blog statistics (https://i2insights.org/site-statistics/) to end June show that the blog has had contributions by 164 authors from 24 countries.

  • Gabriele Bammer was also active organising a plenary panel (on “Research integration and implementation. Commonalities and differences among diverse communities”) for the International Transdisciplinarity conference which will be held in Germany in September. She was also active in organising a workshop of leaders of interdisciplinary organisations which will be held in the US in March 2018.
