Emma Field presented a number of times at the Australian Partnership for Preparedness Research for Infectious Disease Emergencies (APPRISE) CRE Annual Meeting. Here, she facilitated a Theory of Change session for the APPRISE CRE Investigators, presented on the ASEAN-Australia Health Security Fellowship Program, and co-presented a case study session on “First-Few Hundred Studies” for enhanced data collection during a pandemic.

Outreach and Engagement

Meru Sheel has been involved in STEM outreach work through the ANU Science Society and Teach for Australia at a ‘Non-traditional Careers in STEM’ panel and Lake Tuggeranong College at a STEM camp, talking about careers in field epidemiology.

Congratulations to Angus McLure and Andrea Parisi who have both had their PhD confirmed this month and will be able to graduate in July.   Congratulations also to Laura Ford who submitted her PhD thesis this month.
