Conferences, Workshops and Seminars

Martyn Kirk, Katie Glass, Rhiannon Wallace and Liz Walker attended a two day face-to-face meeting for the CampySource project in Melbourne.  This was well attended and a highly productive meeting.  Liz’s talk on our food sampling data generated lots of discussion, and we are very excited by the preliminary genomic data that Rhiannon is helping to analyse.

Katie Glass presented on Lymphatic Filariasis at a Modelling workshop in Melbourne run by the Indo-Pacific Centre for Health Security, and attended a Data Analytics workshop at ANU that aims to link methodologists across ANU, UC, ACT Health and other organisations.

Danielle Ingle presented at the University of Melbourne 4th Annual MDHS ECR Network Symposium on Concurrent outbreaks of highly resistant Shigella spp.

MAE scholar Linda Garton presented at the Australian Public Health Conference on Hepatitis C epidemiology in the Northern Territory: using a novel method to estimate current prevalence based on surveillance data.
