Biography

Sarah is a Master of Applied Epidemiology (MAE) scholar in the 2024-2025 cohort with a placement within the Department of Health, Health Statistics and Informatics branch based in Darwin.

Prior to the MAE Sarah worked as a Registered Nurse specialising in remote child health across the Northern Territory and Torres Strait. Sarah’s areas of interest are working within limited resource settings, infectious diseases, medical anthropology and global and indigenous child health.

Sarah completed her Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Notre Dame with a graduate certificate in Child and Community Health at Curtin University, and completed a Professional Diploma in Tropical Nursing at the Liverpool School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
