About
Dr Amy Parry is an applied epidemiologist with experience in both acute and protracted humanitarian and emergency response settings. She is a graduate of the Australian field epidemiology training programme (FETP) and has a PhD in epidemiology emergency response workforce strengthening. Amy has responded to many of the past decades public health emergencies including Avian Influenza, MERS, Zika, Ebola, and COVID-19. She is currently faculty of the Australian FETP and Deputy Head of the Department of Applied Epidemiology at the Australian National University. Amy's research and work focus is on strengthening and supporting the applied epidemiology workforce.
