About
Emma Bandy is a Master of Applied Epidemiology (MAE) scholar in the 2026–27 cohort with a placement at the Australian Centre for Disease Control (CDC).
Prior to commencing the MAE, Emma worked in vaccine‑related medical affairs, with extensive experience in infectious diseases, scientific data review, and engagement with clinical and public health experts. She has also worked in pharmacovigilance, and as a hospital and community‑based pharmacist. Emma has substantially completed a Master of Public Health, specialising in research methods, which is currently on hold while she completes the MAE.
Emma has a strong interest in infectious disease epidemiology, public health surveillance, and strengthening evidence‑based responses to population health threats.
