About
Harriett is a Master of Applied Epidemiology (MAE) scholar in the 2025-26 cohort with a placement within both the One Health and Epidemiology teams at the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF).
Prior to the MAE, Harriett worked as a clinical veterinarian in mixed practice and in agricultural consulting and clinical teaching with the Mackinnon Project at Melbourne Veterinary School.
Harriett is a 2020 Doctor of Veterinary Medicine graduate from the University of Melbourne where she also completed a Masters of Agricultural Sciences, with a focus in production animal welfare and a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Zoology.
Harriett’s areas of interest include One Health, transboundary animal and zoonotic diseases, food safety and security and international veterinary capacity building.
