About

Kyle is a Research Officer at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health (NCEPH). He is a working member of the Bacteria Enteropathy and Nutrition (BEN) program of work investigating the effect of waterborne pathogens and their impact on childhood malnutrition in Timor-Leste. He is committed to improving conditions and enhancing individual wellbeing across diverse cultural and socioeconomic contexts, with a particular focus on international sustainability and community driven solutions. 

Kyle joins the ANU with a background in disaster management, having worked in various Government Departments and Research Centres to help communities recover after natural hazards including bushfires, floods and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kyle holds a Bachelor of International Studies from the University of Wollongong, majoring in Sustainable Development, and a Master in Disaster Resilience and Sustainable Development from the University of Newcastle, delivered in partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
