About

Robera's PhD research focuses on generating evidence to support the effective transition of health programs supported by international non-governmental organizations to local institutions, such as Ministries of Health, in low and middle income countries. The initial component of his research is being conducted in Sierra Leone in collaboration with Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF). Robera's research aims to support the effective handover of the health program from MSF to the Sierra Leone Ministry of Health.
Robera worked at Wolaita Sodo University and later at the HaSET Maternal and Child Health Research Program at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute. He has been involved in multiple research projects.
