Current positions:
Master of Philosophy (Applied Epidemiology) Scholar
Research Officer, National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health, ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy (under the supervision of Lyndall Strazdins)
I have been employed at the Australian National University (ANU) since 2022 and now work as a Research Officer within the Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health. Previously, I have also worked within the ANU's School of Psychology and Medicine (under the supervision of Professor Elizabeth Rieger) and practised as a clinical dietitian, specialising in eating disorders, disordered eating behaviours and weight management. Prior to commencing at the ANU my research primarily focused on public health nutrition intervention strategies at the University of Wollongong and at NSW Health’s Centre for Population Health.
Upon commencing at the ANU in 2022, my research work centred around interpersonal factors related to eating disorders and body image. I have since also worked on ANU projects relating to aboriginal health risk factors, as well as national and international health advice on the impacts of human exposure to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
Presently, within NCEPH, I support research and project management for the Injury Prevention and Return-to-Work in the Ageing Workforce portfolio of work, and provide expert nutrition advice and support project activities on the Timor-L’Este Bacteria, Enteropathy, and Nutrition (BEN) program of research.
In February 2026, I commenced the Masters of Philosophy in Applied Epidemiology (MAE) program at ANU. As part of this program, I will spend two years on fieldwork placement at the National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance.
