Jillian is a Research Assistant for Associate Professor Jane Desborough in the Department of Health Economics Wellbeing and Society.

She is a journalist and author with extensive experience in community consultation and consumer engagement on health care and medical research projects. Jillian will be working on The Real Price of Health: Experiences of Out-of-Pocket Costs in Australia, specialising in recruiting and interviewing research subjects for the project, analysing the data and providing a lived experience perspective.
