About
Noureen is a Master of Applied Epidemiology (MAE) scholar in the 2025–26 cohort, undertaking concurrent field placements at the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Reference and Research on Influenza (WHO CCRRI) and the Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory (VIDRL) at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity.
Noureen brings experience in digital health project management across the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on health systems strengthening. Her professional background spans clinical practice, research, evaluation, and program management in both international and Australian settings. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Dhaka University, Bangladesh.
Her areas of interest include capacity building, planetary epidemiology, infectious disease preparedness, and digital health innovation.
