Alison is a Master of Applied Epidemiology (MAE) scholar in the 2022-23 cohort with a placement within the Communicable Diseases, Epidemiology and Surveillance Section the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care.

Prior to the MAE Alison worked as a general practitioner in the Northern Territory

Alison’s areas of interest include Indigenous health, sexually transmitted infections, women’s health, chronic disease and primary health care.

Alison has a background in clinical medicine graduating from UNSW and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a diplomate of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She also holds a Master of Public Health in International Health.
