My name is Hesham Al-Sharani, and I am passionate about research and academia. I hold a bachelor's degree in dental sciences from Ibb University in Yemen and a master's degree in maxillofacial surgery from Jinzhou Medical University in China. As a former teaching staff at Ibb University, I have taught various subjects, including dental public health and epidemiology. I have contributed to over 25 research articles and have had the opportunity to review manuscripts for journals. I have also participated in research among school children, surveys, and qualitative and quantitative studies. Additionally, I have worked as a dentist and maxillofacial surgeon, gaining valuable experience in the field.

Currently, I am pursuing a doctoral degree focusing on predicting oral health among Australian children and adolescents through a longitudinal study. I am fortunate to have Dr. Tehzeeb Zulfiqar as my supervisor.
