During this he then later joined the QLD Health COVID-19 Incident Management Team in the Epidemiology and Research Unit to provide timely and specific analysis to stakeholders to inform public health decisions and response.

Outside of epidemiology Patrick is a parkrun tragic, likes to think of himself as an avid trail runner when given the opportunity and loves finding a unique craft brew pub to recover at.

Through the MAE Patrick hopes to put theory into practice and to expand his skillset. He is excited to learn more about genomic epidemiology and its applications.
