Thomas is a Master of Philosophy in Applied Epidemiology (MAE) scholar in the 2023-2024 cohort. His placement is at the Communicable Disease Control Branch (CDCB), SA Health.

Prior to commencing the MAE, Thomas has worked in CDCB COVID Operations leading the Epidemiology Team. His areas of interest include communicable disease epidemiology and development of infectious disease surveillance systems.

Thomas has completed a Bachelor of Medical Science at University of South Australia and a Master of Public Health at Flinders University.  Outside of work and study, Thomas enjoys sports, food and travel.
