About

Thomas Browne is a Master of Applied Epidemiology (MAE) Scholar with a field placement within the Health Surveillance team at the Metro North Public Health Unit.

Thomas previously worked in Sydney, where he contributed to epidemiological analysis and reporting across a broad range of communicable diseases. In this role, he played an active part in high‑priority public health responses in both community and healthcare settings. 

His interests include strengthening surveillance systems, global health, and advancing One Health approaches to emerging infectious diseases.

Thomas holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney, where he specialised in communicable disease control. He also holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of Technology, Sydney.
