Informing humanitarian guidance to reduce risk of violence against young people (Multinational)

Risk of violence

Multi-country (2021 - ongoing)

Children and adolescents in crisis settings are especially vulnerable to violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation.

When violence persists, young people endure longterm consequences to their growth, development, and psychological well-being.

With MSF, and local partners, we will explore the types of violence, abuse and neglect experienced by children and adolescents in crisis.

We will find ways to improve the accessibility and effectiveness of health and support services for young people. This will empower communities to reduce violence and keep children safe.

Our work will deliver long-term change by guiding international humanitarian health organisations' care provision policies, to ensure greatly improved care programs.
