About

The aim of this project is to employ an epidemiological approach to examine the relationship between ambient heat exposure and mental health conditions in multi-countries, utilize randomised crossover trial to investigate whether short-term heat exposure alters the gut microbiome and its metabolites, potentially serving as a biological mechanism linking heat exposure to mental health outcomes.

This research will contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the mental health impacts of heat exposure and inform public health strategies to mitigate these risks in the context of global warming.
